I’m covered by the blood of the Lamb and that’s alright by me!
Don’t tell me how improper it sounds that Jesus bled on a tree!
Let His blood flood through my soul, let it wash every sin away!
I’m covered by the blood, yes I am! and that’s how I plan to stay!
- The Nelons
PRAISE GOD. He is always with us.
How many movies are out there about a guy in high school who is desperate to lose his virginity before he graduates?
A lot, right?
And how many movies are there about high schoolers who don’t want to lose their virginities?
None.
And the movies that do feature characters like this make them…
- Rugrats in Paris :D
- painting!
- spending time with Jesus <- best part :3
<3
God has been so good to me.
and I’m sure that He’s done a lot more for me than I’ve been able to notice, because I take a lot for granted.
- Like staying safe, while driving to church, or to wherever I’m going. It feels like we’re in control, but we’re not, God is the only force keeping us from swerving off of the road, or hitting/being hit by someone else. pretty much anywhere, and anything we’re doing could turn out to be fatal…He’s got His hand on us! ( Psalms 139:5-10 )
- My awesome family. My dad, grandma, Haley, Lyd, everyone- and not just immediate family, my friends, and my church family. They’re all so wonderful, supportive and loving. & even when they’re not ( i’m sure i’m not all of those things all the time, either! ) I have the freedom to LOVE and FORGIVE them like Christ loves us even when we do wrong to Him. did you hear that…..I said FREEDOM to love!
another thing…
- Freedom from sin. freedom to choose not to sin. We’re all born sinners, and don’t have to be taught to lie, steal, etc…we’re born with those evil intentions, each of us. but coming to know the King of the universe, Jesus Christ, it breaks those chains and we are FREE to DECIDE!!! His Holy Spirit comes into our hearts, and let’s us know when something isn’t a good idea. that gives us a spiritual set of eyes and ears to refer to when we’re faced with temptation.
I don’t know about you guys, but that stirs my soup :]
I just wanna thank Him. Knowing that even if He didn’t bless me with all of these things, He’d still be the Lord and deserves all praise for that!
God bless you guys!
